Stamp Hedgehog Rice Bowl | Hasami Ware - Stamp ZOO Series | Made in Japan

This "Stamp Hedgehog" rice bowl belongs to the Stamp ZOO series, a collaborative Hasami ware creation by designer KENJI Ota and the brand tomofac. The pattern originates from digital designs meticulously transformed into physical stamps, which artisans apply by hand to the surface of each vessel one by one. Because every stamp is executed manually, the hedgehog's expression, lines, and placement exhibit natural variations, ensuring that every bowl retains a unique artisanal touch. Combining modern graphic design with traditional Hasami pottery craftsmanship, this bowl balances charming character with a natural, practical aesthetic that integrates effortlessly into everyday dining.

We love Stamp Hedgehog because it brings a whimsical animal motif together with traditional handcrafting on a wonderfully everyday vessel. The hedgehog design already carries plenty of personality, while the subtle variations left by the artisan's hand-stamping ensure no two pieces are entirely alike. This relaxed, natural detail infused with human warmth makes it an ideal tableware piece for daily use.
