It uses stunning paper made in a 200-year-old papermaking mill located at the foot of the German Alps in southern Germany, utilizing water authorized by the government from the Alpine streams. The deep hues are created without any compromise, matching effortlessly with any sophisticated interior space. This exquisite paper is brought to life through advanced Japanese rigid box-making techniques, enriching your interior with profound, beautiful colors. Designed for effortless daily use, much like a vide-poche (a French catch-all tray for pocket items). It also features a special water-repellent treatment to suit various scenes, effectively repelling minor spills and resisting stains. This specialized treatment—different from typical paper processing and printing industry coatings—preserves the original texture, feel, and color of the paper completely while remaining entirely harmless to the human body. Based on patented technology, it is also used for ceremonial attire worn by the Imperial Family and for the decorations of floats in the Gion Festival. Its colors are specially chosen to make sweets and accessories stand out beautifully. Recognized with selection in the JIDA Museum Selection Vol. 22 and the DIA International Design Awards 2022.
