Originally conceived by students from Komazawa University’s Sugano Laboratory during the "S-College 2022" industry-academia collaboration project under the theme "creating a notebook that can depict the future," the concept was brought to life through partnership with professional printing experts. Beyond its innovative concept, Jishoru places meticulous care on paper selection and binding: the cover features Japanese NT Rasha fine paper, while the inner pages utilize Kinmari SW paper, offering a smooth, durable, and highly bleed-resistant writing surface compatible with ballpoint pens, fountain pens, glass pens, and dip pens.
